Albania's Socialist Party calls for reunification of left-wing parties

TIRANA, Albania -- The main opposition Socialist Party (SP) is asking all left-wing parties to reunite to boost their chances in the next parliamentary elections. Senior party official Fatmir Xhafa said on Sunday (August 31st) that the SP remains open to dialogue and co-operation with the other opposition parties in order to reach common positions and create a united front.
